During his Artist in Residency Ezequiel Melero has been working at AGA LAB on channeling sound into geometric shapes and colours to create an abstract series of silkscreen prints, riso prints and a book, all combined in the title UNO or ONE. The title represents his preferred way of working, as well as the mathematical reduction of the date of the exposition 24/10/2019 (by coincidence!). With UNO Ezequiel is using geometry as a way of symbolising the cycle of being.

The work was shown on the 24th of October, in De Bouwput gallery. Walk-in exposition started at 17:00, with an introduction + artist talk by Geert Schriever (me). The exhibition was designed as a library because of the fact that besides his wall works Melero presented Riso-printed books of his research, that could be consulted (and bought).
